Recently I heard this song, and the lyrics spoke to me. Nope, it is not a Christian song, but when I heard it, it was as if God was talking to me through the lyrics.

I found the lyrics particularly meaningful because in SOL3, Ps Seng Lee asked a similar question, about where we think we will be in 5 or 10 years' time. Will we be still fervent for Jesus? Or would we have backslid into obscurity?
I know the church G12 vision, and I believe in it. But I am still uncertain about my personal vision. One that is aligned to the church vision as well. The first stanza of the song really hit me hard. Not the fact that I am still unclear about my own vision, but rather my lack of effort in searching for clarification. Is there something I am passionate about?
I am a seven year old Christian as of this year. And I look back and wonder whether where I am now is where I wanted to be if I thought about it seven years ago. Frankly, I am not sure if I have accomplished much for the kingdom of God. If you ask me now, I wouldn't know if I could say that I'm happy with the way I lived my life. There were things I have done wrong in the past, tests I failed God, and opportunities to save souls wasted.
I need a dream. A godly divine-inspired dream. A cause that I will fight for, and look back ten years down the road, saying that I've at least done something right.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
Hebrews 12: 1
Give me a dream Lord, and give me the strength to persevere through it!
